January stillness in Oslo

“I’ll just go there and surprise her”

Oslo was one of the destinations I never planed visiting in my life until my sister decided to make it her home.

January is the coldest month in Norway, so in case you were wondering why I picked out that specific month, there were few reasons involved. My job allowed this much after the holidays when everybody is away in Prague and the second reason was that my sister had found herself in a logical post-New Year depression after being there for few months alone.

I decided to surprise her. Among that, I brought my Fuji camera with me, although when we landed in Norway I was almost 100% sure I will not take any photos considering the -18 degrees Celsius. But I really decided to sacrifice my hands in order to take photos of this beautiful quiet city, mostly during the night, because the day was ending at 15:00h.
